First day here YA’LL!!!!
This was the day we didn’t wake up until 1:00 PM. My body can’t thank me enough for all the sleep I’ve been getting.
First, walked into town to the dolphin market where we bought an avacado (this biggest one I’ve ever seen), water, eggs, carrots, apples, and package of brown rice for $20. Living on a budget, because: why not? Breakfast consisted of two eggs, two carrots, and a piece of fruit. This is the correct spot to insert -> balling on a budget! ☺️

Next, we went on to an unexpected hour hike filled with cool wildlife.

While we were playing photographer on the rocks a crab decided to watch our bags and enjoy one of our granola bars while he waited for us to return.

Stocked up on Costco treats before the flight here. That’s why my bag weighed so much… Obviously 🙂 It wasn’t the clothes, I swear….Okay, maybe it was the surplus of 60+ bathing suits in my bag for TravelingBikinis (coming soon).
Anyway, we went back through the rocks looking for some shells and noticed a resort nested in a bay about a mile away. Instead of using the trail we thought why don’t we make our own and so we climbed through a forest of rocks with clashing waves.
Seems safe….
We did notice this…

I’m not sure about all the fine writing, maybe it said, “don’t climb over the dangerous rocks,” or, “use the trail.” At one point we almost turned back… Still not sure wether it was an eel or a snake.. dead or alive but after hyperventilating for a few minutes we trailed on.
Then we made it to paradise..a 5 star resort on Cannel bay.
We made it!!!!
We slathered on a shimmery sunblock and baked until a bronze goddess glow. Misty ran to the shore and swam out to a floating dock where she found a boy.

After she swam back to shore we headed to the bar for dinner and met a friendly bartender named Shavon who filled us with some local info. She told us about the bikini shops and mentioned a bikini designer on the island. At this point the sun is starting to set so we decided to head home.
Made it home safely and passed out immediately.
I think we even forgot dinner ☺️
