Misty is a Master's level neuroscientist that focuses on helping others through compassion education and mindfulness. She focuses her energy on creating workshops and 1:1 sessions where her science based practices create long-lasting results in mental health.
Growing up in the Ozark Mountains of Southwest Missouri, Misty frequently turned to the natural world for comfort. She was known for her kindness to animals and involvement in the community. She loved to be outside, rock collect, and search for caves. Through following her senses, and many years of travel and education, Misty has created a workshop based upon fractal science. Fractals are the slight nuances of repeating patterns that our eyes naturally interpret. These patterns have a profound effect on our cognition and the ability to heal.
Misty's gears her focus upon philanthropy, research, and teaching. She uses mindfulness in her daily life and teaches others how to do the same. With a natural tendency to explore, Misty shows great leadership abilities and often speaks and teaches at events and workshops. She loves educating people about kindness, compassion, mental health, and science. She is currently involved in training corporations on the benefits of DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion). She has worked in brain health and been an advocate for neurodiversity for several years.
